What Our Florida Service Area Includes

We cover every county in the state except Miami-Dade and Broward. From Naples to Pensacola, we design, permit and install steel metal carports, metal garages, RV covers, boat covers and clear-span buildings.

In addition, every building is engineered for the design wind speed at your address. Across Florida those speeds run from about 115 to 170 mph. Permitting assistance is included, so you do not have to work out the building department on your own. To compare costs first, see our installed price charts.

Not sure who reviews your permit? In general, most unincorporated areas go to the county building department, while many cities run their own. For that reason, we check your address and file with the right office. You can also look up the code itself through the Florida Building Commission.

FAQ

Florida Service Area Questions

What is your Florida service area?

Our Florida service area covers every county in the state except Miami-Dade and Broward. That includes the Gulf Coast, Tampa Bay, Central Florida, the Space Coast, Palm Beach County, North Florida and the Panhandle.

Is delivery and installation included everywhere?

Yes. Delivery and installation by our crews are included in our building prices. However, some very large buildings carry a freight charge, and small orders under $1,500 add a $250 trip fee.

Do you help with permits in every county?

Yes. Permitting assistance is included with every order. We prepare sealed engineering for your address, file with your county or city building department, answer reviewer comments and coordinate inspections.

What wind speed are your buildings rated for?

Every building is engineered to the Florida Building Code design wind speed for its exact address. Across Florida those speeds run from about 115 to 170 mph, and coastal sites sit at the higher end.

Why don’t you install in Miami-Dade or Broward?

Both counties are High-Velocity Hurricane Zones with their own product approval rules, so we do not install there. Every other Florida county is inside our service area.

How long does it take to get on the install schedule?

Permitting is usually the longest step, and it varies by building department. However, once the permit is issued and your site is ready, we schedule your install on the next route for your area and call ahead to confirm the date.
